Carpentry Foreman

A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly motivated foreman level carpenter to join our dynamic team of remodeling professionals in Erie, PA. We’re seeking individuals with integrity and a strong work ethic, who have mastered their carpentry skills in their previous or current place of employment.

DBC Remodeling & Construction has been in business since 2007 providing custom kitchen and bath remodeling, sunroom and deck building, basement finishing and basement waterproofing in the Erie and surrounding areas from our office in Greene Township.

Essential Skills:

o You have 6 or more years of experience in finish carpentry, specifically, residential remodeling
o You have a working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
o You have strong communication skills
o You are able to lay out daily plans for a job to make sure it runs smoothly, efficiently, and is completed on time
o You are able to coordinate multiple tasks at once while thinking ahead to what is needed next for a project
o You work well with co-workers, customers, and subcontractors and treat them with respect
o You conduct yourself honestly
o You conduct yourself professionally and display a polished appearance
o You possess a willingness to learn
o You work energetically
o You have a proven track record of successfully performing the tasks assigned and even implementing new and better methods that contributed to a company's success
o You take ownership of your work and are not afraid of new challenges
o You lead with confidence and can make job-related decisions quickly
o You find joy in teaching others the skills of the trade

Physical Requirements:

o You can lift up to 75 lbs unassisted
o You can work on high surfaces, if needed
o You can work outside for extended periods of time, if needed

Other Requirements:

o You are able to pass a background check
o You are able to pass a drug screening
o You have reliable transportation

This first shift position has a normal work week of 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday) and is a year-round position.
