We're Now in Chardon Helping the Community Love Where You Live AND Love Where You Learn.

Not Just Cutting a Ribbon — We're Stocking a Shop
We've been counting down the days, and it's almost here — DBC Remodeling & Construction is officially opening in Chardon, Ohio.
On Mon., March 30, we're celebrating our grand opening at 500 Center St. with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce, showroom tours, refreshments from Beans Coffee Shop and Bistro, giveaways, and a whole lot of excitement! But this event is about more than opening an office. It's about opening a relationship with this community.
Love Where You Live. Love Where You Learn.
At DBC, our tagline has always been "love where you live." But we believe that's bigger than just your home — it's about your community too. That's why we're using our grand opening to launch Stock the Shop, a community tool and supply drive benefiting the construction trades program at Auburn Career Center in Concord Township.
Auburn Career Center serves students from 10 high schools across Geauga and Lake counties, preparing them for careers in the skilled trades. These are the future carpenters, builders, and craftspeople who will carry on the work of improving homes and lives for families across northeast Ohio. Getting to support them is one of the most meaningful things we've ever gotten to do as a company.
"We're honored to support the next generation of tradespeople who will carry on the work of bringing honor and joy to home improvement for families in northeast Ohio," said DBC owner Doug Bierer. "Partnering with Auburn Career Center is our way of investing in both homes and community."
Auburn Career Center Superintendent Joe Glavan shared the feeling: "When local businesses invest in hands-on programs like ours, it reinforces the value of skilled trades and helps students see a clear path to success. We're thankful to DBC for their generosity and for helping equip our students with the tools they need to build their futures."

Why Chardon, Ohio
Founded in 2007 in Erie, PA., DBC has spent nearly two decades building a reputation on three core values: treat everyone well, keep everything clean, and excel every time. The Chardon office marks our first permanent location in Ohio, and we couldn't be more excited about where we're planting roots.
We specialize in sunrooms, basement finishing, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, and awnings — and we bring the same commitment to professionalism, communication, and quality craftsmanship to every project, whether it's in Erie or Chardon.
We're here, we're grateful, and we can't wait to help homeowners across northeast Ohio love where they live.
Thank you for the incredible welcome already, Chardon! We already love it here. 💚
