Complete Basement Transformation

This homeowner needed additional heated living space for family visits and holidays, so we transformed their wide-open basement into a fully finished, functional lower level designed for comfort and durability.

The project includes two new bedrooms with recessed, operable windows to bring in natural light, a half bathroom for the kids, and an enclosed laundry room that also functions as a pantry. We customized shelving, added closets for storage, and incorporated smart layout changes to maximize usable space.

To control moisture and air quality year-round, we installed a Sanidry dehumidification system and an Aspen air cleaner. The basement is heated and cooled with a mini-split system, and all walls use pre-finished, maintenance-free panels designed specifically for basement environments.

We finished the space with waterproof luxury vinyl tile flooring throughout — including the stairs — vinyl baseboard trim to prevent moisture damage, a full electrical package, and custom storage solutions such as under-stair storage and mechanical room enclosures.
